Esfahan most be one of the most beautiful cities in the whole of Iran. Not like the hustle and bustle of Tehran, Esfahan has a greater cosmopolitan feel to it still with all the women wearing the black chador or bland raincoats, but it is fact that you can go shopping in Esfahan and visit the beautiful Emam Khomeini Square where families come at night to have picnics and children play football.
Alongside with the Khomeini Square is the rain running through Esfahan with it magical bridges that act both as pedestrian walkways, miniature dams, family gathering places and conveniently placed tea rooms (underneath the bridge, you will have to get your feet wet to see them!). |
