The Golden Temple Amritzar alongside the Taj Mahal really is a must see in India.
Reached by an eight hour train journey, by day or night, the Golden Temple is a very relaxing, extremely peaceful and beautiful place to be.
From early in the morning to late at night the priest play and sing the prays from the Silk Holy Book. You can actually go into the Temple itself, though it can be abit tight with all the pilgrims it is a wonderful experience to see inside and do not forget to go upstairs, it is very quiet with only a few people sitting around reading their prays.
