Said to be the berth place of Abraham, a cave at the base of hte hill below the photo, Sanli Urfa or simply known as Urfa is a wonderful town and called the Paris of the east.
The centre of Urfa has very old Bazaar in fact it feels as if you are walking about a 15 Century town! And situated below the castle on a hill overviewing the town is a beautiful park including a mosque as viewable in the photo.
This is certainly a city I would re-visit! |
